LinkedIn Personal Branding for UAE Founders and Executives

In the UAE, deals still start with a person. LinkedIn is where that person gets checked out.

How UAE founders and executives build a LinkedIn presence that produces inbound conversations — content pillars, cadence, and what to stop doing.

Fix the profile before you post anything

Your headline should say what you do for whom, not your job title. 'Helping Dubai clinics fill their appointment book' outperforms 'Managing Director' every time.

The About section is a sales page with a soft ending: who you help, what changes, proof, and a low-friction way to start a conversation. The featured section should carry your best case study, a service page and one piece of content worth reading.

Choose three content pillars and stay in them

Pick one pillar for expertise, one for proof, one for point of view. Expertise posts teach something specific. Proof posts show a result and how it happened. Point-of-view posts take a position your market argues about.

Three pillars keeps you recognisable. Posting about everything makes you memorable to nobody.

A realistic cadence

Three posts a week is plenty if the posts are good. Two of those can be short — an observation from a client conversation, a specific number and what caused it. One should be substantial.

Reserve twenty minutes a day for thoughtful comments on other people's posts. In the UAE market this consistently produces more useful connections than posting alone.

What to stop doing

Stop posting inspirational content with no relationship to what you sell. It attracts an audience that will never buy.

Stop the automated connection-plus-pitch sequence. It burns the exact senior audience you want, and in a market this interconnected, reputation travels fast.

Stop hiding results because they are not spectacular. A modest, specific, verifiable number beats a vague claim of transformation.

Measuring whether it works

Ignore impressions. Track profile views from your target roles, inbound messages that turn into calls, and how often prospects mention a post in a first meeting. That last one is the truest signal there is.
