How Much Should a Website Cost in Dubai? An Honest Breakdown
Quotes in Dubai range from AED 2,000 to AED 200,000 for what looks like the same brief. Here is what actually drives the difference.
Realistic website design costs in Dubai in 2026, what changes the price, and how to avoid paying twice for the same site.
What the price is really made of
A website quote covers four separable things: strategy and structure, design, build, and content. Cheap quotes almost always assume you are supplying the content and that the structure is a template someone else designed.
That is not automatically bad. If you have clear copy and a simple offer, a well-executed template site is a sensible purchase. The problem is buying a template price while expecting bespoke strategy, then paying a second agency six months later to fix the result.
Realistic ranges in 2026
A one-page landing site with supplied copy typically lands between AED 3,000 and AED 5,000. A five to eight page business site with light copywriting sits around AED 6,000 to AED 12,000. A larger corporate or multi-service site with bespoke design, SEO-structured pages and written content runs AED 12,000 to AED 25,000. eCommerce and booking platforms start higher because of integrations and testing.
Anything under AED 2,000 is either a reseller flipping a template with placeholder text, or the first instalment of a subscription you cannot export from.
The costs people forget to budget
Content. Writing fifteen pages properly takes real time and it is the line most often stripped out of a quote to win the job. Then the project stalls for three months because nobody sent the copy.
Photography. Stock images of generic offices actively reduce trust in a market where buyers are checking whether you are real.
Maintenance. Plugins, hosting, security patches, backups and small edits. Budget a care plan or expect the site to decay within a year.
Design decisions that pay for themselves
Build one page per service rather than one long scrolling page. Each becomes an entry point from search and can be linked to individually in ads and proposals.
Put a phone number and WhatsApp link in the header. UAE buyers frequently want to talk before they fill in anything.
Design the enquiry form for the shortest honest path — name, contact, one qualifying question. Every extra field costs you submissions.
Make sure the site is genuinely fast on mobile. That single factor influences both rankings and conversion more than any visual choice.
How to avoid paying twice
Own the domain, the hosting account and the code or CMS login yourself. Ask this in writing before you pay a deposit.
Agree a page list and a wireframe before design begins — scope disputes almost always trace back to a vague brief.
Have SEO structure built in during the build rather than retrofitted. Adding proper page structure, metadata and schema afterwards costs more than doing it once.
